Glossary of Terms

ATS (Against The Spread): A measure of how teams perform relative to the betting spread set by oddsmakers.

Edge: The projected advantage or disadvantage of a team in terms of point difference, often used to assess betting opportunities.

RA-RY (Rushing Attempts - Rushing Yards): The number of rushing attempts and the total rushing yards gained by the team.

YPR (Yards Per Rush): The average number of yards gained per rushing attempt.

PA-PY (Passing Attempts - Passing Yards): The number of passing attempts and the total passing yards gained by the team.

YPA (Yards Per Attempt): The average number of yards gained per passing attempt.

ATT-YDS (Total Attempts - Total Yards): The sum of rushing and passing attempts, and the total combined yards gained.

YPP (Yards Per Play): The average number of yards gained per offensive play.

FL-INT (Fumbles Lost - Interceptions): The total number of fumbles lost and interceptions thrown by the team.

1st Half Scores: The projected scores and edges for the first half of the game.

Turnovers: A combination of fumbles lost and interceptions, indicating a team's mistakes that resulted in a change of possession.

Line: The betting line set for the game, indicating the point spread or over/under total.

Score: The projected final score of the game based on simulations.
